Tourism Licensing
To regulate tourism activities, ADTA started tourism licensing services in 2005 in a multi-staged strategy, providing modern electronic services to simplify procedures and make them more convenient, thus the Authority improved issuance and renewal of tourism activities licenses, reducing processing time and enhancing transparency.
Since the inception of the ground-breaking online accommodation classification system, ADTA has been delivering destination integrity to the trade and end users with a substantial upgrade in the emirate’s hotels.

The online licensing services cover the following:

Issuance, approval, renewal, amendment and cancellation of all tourism-related licenses.

Renewal of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry licenses, the system being integrated with the ADCCI system.
